The following is a list of sensor network equipment available for use in students' course projects.
TelosB-Family
TelosB data sheet IEEE 802.15.4 radio, TI MSP430 uProcessor, Integrated antenna, Integrated USB (no need for a programming board).
Sensors: Temperature, light, and humidity.
Quantity: 45
The Tmote Sky and TelosB are functionally equivalent. Any hardware or software information about the TelosB motes also applies to the Tmote Sky.
- EasySen SBT80 Expansion sensorboard for TelosB.
Sensors: Visual light, infrared, acoustic, temperature, dual-axis magnetometer and dual-axis accelerometer.
Quantity: 3 (1 is soldered and need to be removed). More can be ordered. (For reliability, you may need to solder a socket onto the TelosB expansion holes on the PCB.)
MICA-Family
IEEE 802.15.4 radio, Atmel ATmega128 uProcessor, requires a programming board.
Quantity: 32
- MIB510/520 MICA-Family Programming Boards.
Quantity: 7, only 5 power supplies, and no cables. Also available 4 boards with unknown function (should not be hard to find out).
