Equipment for course projects
The following is a list of sensor network equipment available for use in students' course projects.
TelosB-Family
IEEE 802.15.4 radio, TI MSP430 uProcessor, Integrated antenna, Integrated USB (no need for a programming board).
Sensors: Temperature, light, and humidity.

The Tmote Sky and TelosB are functionally equivalent. Any hardware or software information about the TelosB motes also applies to the Tmote Sky.
- EasySen SBT80 Expansion sensorboard for TelosB.
Sensors: Visual light, infrared, acoustic, temperature, dual-axis magnetometer and dual-axis accelerometer.
Quantity: 2 (1 is soldered and need to be removed). More can be ordered. (For reliability, you may need to solder a socket onto the TelosB expansion holes on the PCB.)
MICA-Family
IEEE 802.15.4 radio, Atmel ATmega128 uProcessor, Requires a programming board.

TinyOS 1.x-Only Equipment
This equipment is not supported by TinyOS 2.0. The TA will be unable to offer assistance with TinyOS 1.x. We offer this equipment for advanced students who are willing to debug their projects without the TA's assistance.
